The history of The Loving Seed and its Executive Director, Blake Cedergren, revolve closely around Caffe Paradiso. Blake became a regular customer in 2018 before assuming the roles of baker, barista, event planner and manager. This is where Blake met three of our board members: Dillon Max, Carlos Barragan and Gary Pini. They all shared a love of coffee and a passion for community. Radical ideas were shared across the bar and poetry was recited to the people. In fact, our Articles of Incorporation were signed here within the caffe walls.

Now we ask the Urbana-Champaign community to support our blossoming Non-profit farm by trying supporting our Spring 2025 Caffe Paradiso Fundraiser!
